Alaura began her yoga practice at home, studying history, and taking classes online and at local studios. After some time, yoga became the most important thing in her life, helping her to heal from a low point.
Alaura is continuously gaining experience with different styles of yoga from teachers she has met along her journey, deepening her personal practice. She has taught since 2016 but started full-time in 2019 immediately following her first AcroYoga festival in Portland, Oregon. There, she realized even more that teaching is her true purpose.
Alaura’s approach to yoga remains ever focused on safety and finding the balance between mindfulness, breath-work, and overall strengthening while showing you that yoga is so much more than just the poses, it’s about you, the whole you!
